Romans 15:13 Now may the God Of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Nehemiah 8:10 ....Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Faith is like dynamite and will blow away impossible situations. The fuse to set off the dynamite is the joy of the Lord, however you have to protect it, because small things can steal your joy.
Happiness is governed by outward circumstances, whereas joy is not controlled by the things around you because it comes from within.
God is a God of joy, and wants this attribute to always flow through you. Psalm 16:11 You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
